The Raleigh Llamas logo and jersey design were created for an inclusive, community-driven kickball team competing within Stonewall Sports Raleigh, a nonprofit LGBTQIA+ and ally sports organization founded in 2010. Stonewall Sports focuses on providing fun, accessible athletic opportunities while fostering connection, philanthropy, and belonging.

The design concept balances playfulness, pride, and team identity, reflecting the Llamas’ energetic spirit and welcoming culture. The logo features a bold, approachable illustration style that captures the humor and confidence of the team while remaining versatile across jerseys, merchandise, and digital platforms. Color choices and typography were selected to stand out on the field while reinforcing a sense of unity and inclusivity.

The jersey design extends the logo system into a functional, game-ready uniform—prioritizing visibility, comfort, and team recognition. Clear numbering, cohesive branding elements, and strong contrast ensure the jerseys perform well in active play while still making a visual statement.

This project celebrates sport as a vehicle for community building and self-expression. The Raleigh Llamas went on to win the 2018 Kickball Tournament, making the design part of a championship-winning season and a lasting symbol of team pride within the Stonewall Sports Raleigh league.
